it doesn't matter what length your hair is. it all depends on what type of hair you currently have.. if it's thick it should stay that way. if it's thin.. it'll stay that way as well.

although if you have thin hair.. it's best to have a short hair cut.

I have really long hair too. Just get it trimmed twice a year (at least) to cut off all the split/dead ends cuz that's why it gets thinner at the bottom, and then it should stay pretty thick at the bottom. :)
