hi ive got really long hair and a young mum and finding having long hair difficult to manage now because its really thick and curl and just havent got the time to keep straighting it. so anyway im thinking of going short so its just pass my jawline but i darnt and havent really seen any decent styles does anyone no a good website with modern cuts ive been on a few but they are all styles for older womwn and nothing young thanks in advance

make sure the cut is long enough to tie. I have thick and curly hair and I got it cut to my jawline a long time ago, it was ugly. I looked like a mushroom, it was horrid. keep it just above your shoulders and cut it in layers. its the safest thing to do.

How about just having a little of the length taken off and instead of straighten your hair put some good gel in and leave it curly. Just wash comb, gel and go.

I love shorter hair! My hair was down my back and cut it to a pixie cut and then grew it out again and now it's a chin length bob. My hair is thick and wavy but I blow dry it straight. With curly hair you'll have to make adjustments with a style you choose. You can invest in a good flat iron to straighten your hair a bit to acheive a certain style. Here's a tip for a busy person... wash your hair before bed and if you want to straighten it do it then. In the morning brush it out and touch it up.

I think somewhere in the bob family is where you'll find a modern, easy, but fun haircut. The key for thick curly hair is to stack it in the back to relase weight and get it texturized to remove bulk. Go to a really good salon or stylist and bring a picture. Good luck.
