I work at a corporation that does not allow mens hair to be below the color of a polo shirt. Hats are allowed, but my hair at the ears are trying to poke out looking unprofessional(I keep my hair behind my ears). The length on the back is alright for now but its getting long. How can I better cover this up while I'm at work? I already wear a hat...

depending upon what your priorities are would depend upon what you should do. I can appreciate your sense of identity with your hair; therefore, maybe you should consider another job. If you do not want to consider another job/position then I would merely suggest you cut your hair. Easier said than done, again based on your priorities and sense of identity with your hair your options do not seem to be easy.

What country? In USA there might be grounds for a sexual discrimination suit if the regulation only applies to men. If you have religious reasons, there's even more justification for a suit.

ok, so all my life I've HATED long hair and my hair isn't all that long either, it's about to the top of were my bra ends and it's layered and I've got bangs about an inch higher than my chin and I'm sick of it I don't want a bob or a boy cut I want it long enough to pull into a ponytail or bun for dance, I've also got really thick hair and it's naturally curly crazy, anything will help thanks!!!!

Stacked bobs are the best cut ever. If you cut it long enough, say with the longest strands being your bangs you will probably be able to pull it back still but not all of it. Stacked bobs are perfect for thick hair and look cute, if you fix them right, whether your hair is styled curly or straight.

Cut it to the top of your shoulders. I too have curly hair and wore it long for years. I have more body in my hair now that it is shorter. I can still wear it up as well which is great.

Thick hair looks MUCH better long. Thin hair looks kind of, well, skanky. (Not trying to offend anyone-- just my personal opinion.) But it all really depends on the shape of your face, and your personal preference. I have very thick hair, and I'm growing it out. I love it long, but sometimes long hair is just a pain in the ***, when if you have short hair, it is a lot more manageable. Your choice. :p.

I think you should keep it long but don't dye it because you can weaken you hair. At least that is what my hairdresser told me. I have long hair also and I think it is great so if I was you I would keep it. But that is me option it is really up to you.

well, i used to have very loooooooooong hair and it wasn't heavy for me at all. it just feels the same to me even as it grows longer and longer. my hair is natural all the way. and it depends what kind of hair you want to find out. people may have very thick hair, which tends to weigh more. i have very thin and smooth hair, so it doesn't bother me at all. no matter if you have thick or thin long hair, the cons of it is that when you wash it, it's a little tiring and you have to waste more shampoo and conditioner of course. but it's great having long hair because there are many styles for it and you'll always look more sweet and feminine. and yes, dreadlocks will weigh your head down a lot and it will be uncomfortable at all sorts of time. hair extensions also weigh a lot because it isn't your natural hair that they're gluing or snapping on to your roots. so that's something you might also want to know :) well hope this answers your question! if anything else, let me know. glad to help, have a good day :D

Yes it's true I have hair that is almost 3 feet long. Leaving it down is OK but very hot. Pulling it up weighs on it and pulls causing headaches.

I really hope someone can help me out here. Okay, I have pretty long hair and I cannot find a way to put it up and make it look cute. I like the way it looks when i put it up and dont pull it all the way thru the hairtie so it makes kind of a bun, but my hair is long and I end up with a tail sticking out from under the "bun" part. I have really long hair too! Usually what I do with the little tail is I pin it up under the ponytail with bobby pins. Sometimes I even wrap it around the base of the ponytail and then cover it with a pretty ribbon. Another thing I like to do is to wind my hair up into a high "ballerina bun". You then kinda snag your fingers through it and make it messy but still cute. Another key is to use a styling gel or wax to make it kinda kinky.
