I have long hair down to my waist, I don't want to cut my hair, half way down, my hair isn't as smooth but the top half of my hair is smooth. What product do you use to keep your hair smooth from top to bottom?

The unsmooth bit is due to split ends and breakage.

Get a shampoo %26amp; conditioner that repair damaged hair.

Have your hair trimmed regularly and eventually the rough bits will all go away.

I also have long hair and the only way to keep it smooth is to make sure you have it trimmed regularly so that the bottom of your hair is in as good a condition as the top!

Sorta a weird question but here i go lol, i have, i guess, sorta long hair for a guy, but u know, the usual, just bangs down to my eyebrows and the rest of the hair is not as long as the bangs, but still long enough to get messed up while sleeping. I hate getting up in the moring to shower but if i do it at night, my hair looks like i was hung upside down with jell in my hair, yeah i turn alot in bed. I have abig forehead lol so i cant really cut it, is there any way to get this down without having to take a shower, and dont suggest water and a comb cuz thats not strong enough, and dont sugguest hair gel either.

You can always get a straighter , guys do straighten there hair.But you can not use it EVERYDAY because it can dire up your hair...acutely you should get a proper hair drier . if you hav been to the hair dresses they straighten your hair with a hair dryer . but the hair dryer takes longer then the hair straightener. Its more healthier to use than a straightener that's all...you can use the hair straightener but... you can use it only 3 times a week. not everyday. or just cut it !

For me, generally yes, but I have seen women with very short hair that were certainly very feminine (Demi Moore in Ghost, for sure).

One thing great about long hair is the versatility of wearing it up, or down.

When used to seeing it down, and then I see her wearing it up, seeing her bare back of neck is very sexy.

I find long hair more feminine too but it all depends on your facial features, to tell whether or not you would look good with short hair.

Hi, im a boy with medium leght hair, and i want it long (about shoulder)

I had a cut yesterday.. didnt cut it for about 9,5 months so it was is not very good shape..

but now im sad that i lost about 2/3 months of hair :/ but it looks in better shape.

yes long hair definately needs to have upkeep on it. im a girl and i have hair down to the middle of my back, and i have to get it cut about every two months. not cut alot just the ends trimmed to get rid of the split ones. granted i do alot more damaging stuff to my hair like styling it and everthing, but you being a guy...i still think you should get the ends trimmed off your hair about everything 3 or 4 months. you will see a good difference in your hair that is for sure!

I'm female and have long hair down to my butt.(its a thing to keep it long.)I hate cutting it.So I trim once in a while.But I baby it too.Lots of oil free conditioner,carful with the brush.And gentle when its wet(hair stretches when wet and will break easier).

It will grow out.Take care of your nutrition and scalp in the meantime.

I have long hair and foils... but does the foiling and bleaching of my hair do A LOT of damage to the ends??

And if I maintain my hair and keep it in good condition with products will this help fix the ends from snapping off??

Bleaching the hair does cause a chemical change in the hair and if it is left to long it can damage it. Using foils will not cause damage as long as it is timed correctly and watched. Make sure u are using a good professional shampoo and conditioner as this will keep the color looking nice and your hair healthy. As far as the ends snapping off that is because it has been over processed. You should probably get a trim and watch them....Redken makes a good product for damaged ends, Extreme shampoo and Extreme Anti-Snap leave in treatment.

I'm getting soooo frustrated and bugged with my hair!!! the thing is...i looved having it soo long...it was kinda like my statement...plus my grandma totally approves! it's long...like down below my waist now. it's really curly,so it kinda curls up and does'nt look that long unless i straighten it..

the problem is that i can't straighten it every day ...and it gets frumpy and crazy dry everyday! this is soooo annoying!

i tried mousee but it does'nt work for my lenght and it does'nt hold the curls together!

I sooo need help!!!

That's a tough one. I have curly hair too and it's getting pretty long. umm........ I suggest using Tresemme. The mousee called"Flawless curls" it works great for me. For your dry hair use Tresemme conditioners. I suggest, " Vitamin E for moisture, Frizz Control, or the one for breakage control. It's not expensive so you shouldn't have a problem. Try it and see if it works for you.

i have long curly hair and am not the biggest fan of it either. i would suggest you cut it to a bit past the shoulders. it may seem weird at first but i almost gaurentee that you will be happy with it. it makes it easier to straighten if need be, and if you want it to be curly then get a simple styling gel/ spray and it will look totally cute. also, if you have the same friz problem that i have, i would suggest taking showers at night and/or getting some dove spray in comditioner/friz control. it totally helps. good luck!

well long hair is sexy i think you should get lots of layers in your hair it will thin it out and it will be easy to do hair sytles i use to be in the same matter as you i use to have really long brown curly hair and it annoyed me too cause i would wake uo in the morning and it went crazzy and it annoyed me in summer to cause it got to hot but then i got sick of it oneday and got heaps on layer and its great so you should do it or get your hair permently straighend at the hairdressers
